Hello, my name is Mollie Chiles and I am currently in GITA III, where we are using CSS, HTML, and javascript on p5.js to create games and animations. I am enrolled at Brea Olinda High School as a Junior. I'm taking AP Lang, AP Enviornmental Science, FST, and robotics. My current goal is to go to Cal Maritime and get a degree in Marine Engineering Technology, and then work as some sort of marine engineer.
GITA is a four-year program offered at Brea Olinda High School. Two years, GITA II and GITA IV are AP classes, which we can recive college credits from if we get a 3 or higher on its exam.
In this class, we explore and investigate the interrelationships of the natural world and analyze environmental problems, both natural and human-made. It is an AP course so if you get a 3 or higher on the exam, you can get college credits for it.
Its full name being AP English Language and Composition, we learn about the elements of argument and composition and develop critical-reading and writing skills. We read non-fiction work to understand and create arguments to try to persuade the reader. Also an AP course, if you get a 3 or higher on the exam, you can get college credits for it.
In this class, I am creating robots using VEX robotics things. I am also learning how to code in C++
Its full name being Function, Stats, and Trigonometry; it is a college-prep course where we learn to understand and interpret graphs and equations, among other stuff.
Computer Science. That's why you're here.
As its name might imply, we're learning about the history of the United States. We're mostly covering the later half of its history, as we have already learned about it in 8th grade.
